Christopher A. Meninno joined Baystate Financial in 1998. He holds the CFP® certification and ChFC® designation.

As a CFP® certificant, Chris has met the experience and ethical requirements, completed the required coursework, and passed the rigorous CFP® Certification Examination. He must also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Board's Code of Ethics & Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.

By earning the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation Chris has the extended education which allows him to assist individuals, professionals, and small-business owners with their insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments, and estate planning needs.

Previously, Chris was named a member of the MetLife Private Client Group Inner Circle Program which recognizes excellence in investment sales and an exceptional commitment to servicing the long term financial needs of his clients.

He has qualified for Leaders Conference from 2004 to 2014. Recognized by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) based on prior calendar year sales. Recipients are agents of MassMutual. 

Chris graduated from Framingham State College in 1989 with a BA in Psychology. In 1992, he then obtained a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Springfield College.

The award is based on 10 objective criteria. Eligibility criteria-required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review; 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria-considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations.
